About me
Sarah Streitmatter (she/her) holds an MA in Counseling Psychology and Ed.M in School Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University, as well as an advanced certificate in College Advising from Columbia University. She has been a professional school counselor in both New York City and Atlanta, primarily working in high schools with special emphasis on college and career counseling. She is currently a second-year PhD student in Counselor Education and Practice at Georgia State University. Her current research interests include youth participatory action research (YPAR), anti-racist school counseling practices, and school counselor identity development.
