This poster outlines the provisional development and validation of the Counselor Neurofeedback Competency Scale. Building on prior empirical work, the study suggests a refined Delphi process with experts and stakeholders to reduce competency items, followed by exploratory factor analysis to examine alignment with KSAO domains and confirmatory factor analysis with a large counselor sample to validate the final scale. Attendees will gain a methodological roadmap for scale development.
