About me
Rui Ding is a Doctoral Candidate in the Counselor Education and Supervision program at the University of Iowa, with an expected graduation date of 2027. He holds an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy (2021) from Auburn University and a prior master’s degree in Applied Psychology from Nanjing Medical University. He has clinical experience as a marriage and family therapist in both community and private practice settings. His research focuses on international counseling students, language proficiency, counselor self-efficacy, burnout, and mental health stigma.
