About me
Hello Everyone, I am Dr. Linzy Sunshine Andre (She/Her/Hers), a doctoral lecturer at Hunter College in New York City. I have 10 years of post-graduate clinical mental health practice, including 6 years in private practice. My research interest is vast: I have conducted research regarding the endorsement of therapeutic factors amongst CITs while engaged in group counseling skills coursework and experiential growth groups; I am also currently conducting a research project regarding Black counselors in private practice, a research project from the perspectives of women of color on student success, and a research project that utilizes intergroup dialogue as an intervention and assessment tool for how undergraduate students think about their embodiment of fatness.
