Peitao Zhu, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in department of Counseling and Higher Education at Northern Illinois University. Dr. Zhu’s scholarly work revolves around the core question: what are the characteristics and interpersonal markers of impactful counseling, supervision, and pedagogy? His recent work focuses on theory, measurement, and implication of cultural humility. Dr. Zhu has numerous publications in top counseling journals and serves as Associate Editor for the Journal for Specialists in Group Work. He has expertise in both quantitative and qualitative methods and is a sought-after applied methodologist for advanced quantitative method and instrument development.
