About me
Yanhong Liu, Ph.D., NCC, is a Professor in the unit of Counseling & Human Services at Syracuse University. Her research centers on marginalized youth and the systems that shape their development and well-being. She co-leads THRIVE (The Health and Resilience Interdisciplinary CollaboratiVE), an interdisciplinary lab focused on collegiate mental health. Dr. Liu’s scholarship spans three intersecting areas: collegiate mental health, school counselor roles and student outcomes, and counselor education and supervision. She has actively and consistently published in indexed, counseling and interdisciplinary journals over the past decade. Her recent work advances cross-disciplinary collaborations on artificial intelligence (AI)-based interventions.
